Get in touch

Email support@nikki-ai.app and a human will read it. We aim to reply within two business days.

It helps to include the email address on your account, the device you’re using (iPhone, Android, or the web app), and what you were doing when things went wrong. Screenshots are welcome.

Account and sign-in

Forgotten password. Choose “Forgot password” on the sign-in screen and we’ll email you a reset link. The link is single-use and expires, so request a fresh one if it’s been sitting in your inbox a while.

Signing in with Apple or Google. If you created your account that way, keep using the same button — signing in with an email and password won’t find it, even when the address matches.

Changing your email. Open Settings in the app and update it there. We send a confirmation link to the new address, and the change only takes effect once you follow it.

Nikki AI Flow

Nikki is free to try. Flow removes the daily limit on AI features — journal feedback, lesson grading, and flashcard generation. You can pay monthly or yearly; the yearly plan costs less per month. Prices vary by country and are shown in your own currency, and the exact amount is always confirmed before you pay. On the web, see the pricing page. In the app, the price appears on the subscribe screen and in the App Store or Google Play listing.

A subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your access continues until the end of the period you’ve already paid for; cancelling never cuts it short.

Managing or cancelling your subscription

Where you cancel depends on where you subscribed, because the payment is held by whoever took it.

If you subscribed in the iPhone app, Apple holds the subscription and only Apple can change it:

  • Open the iPhone Settings app and tap your name at the top
  • Tap Subscriptions
  • Tap Nikki AI, then Cancel Subscription

You can also reach the same screen from inside Nikki: Settings → Subscription → Manage subscription. Refunds for App Store purchases are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

If you subscribed on the web, manage it in Settings on nikki-ai.app, which opens the billing portal where you can cancel or update your payment method.

Restoring a purchase. New phone, or reinstalled the app? Settings → Restore purchases re-applies a subscription bought with your Apple Account. Nothing is charged again.

Your writing and your data

Exporting. You can export your journal entries and flashcards from Settings at any time.

Deleting your account. Settings → Delete account removes your account and your writing. Deletion is permanent after 30 days, and cancelling a subscription is a separate step — see above, since we can’t cancel an App Store subscription on your behalf.

What happens to your writing when it’s sent to an AI model for feedback is set out in full in our Privacy Policy.

Common problems

The app looks out of date after an update. Nikki updates itself in the background and applies the update the next time it starts cold. Close it fully — swipe it away from the app switcher — and open it again.

Audio won’t play in a lesson. Check the silent switch on the side of your iPhone, then confirm the volume isn’t at zero for media. Lesson audio streams, so it also needs a connection the first time you play a line.

Feedback on a journal entry didn’t arrive. Your entry is saved either way — feedback never blocks writing. If you’ve hit the free daily limit, the app says so; if not, try again in a moment and email us if it keeps happening.

A purchase went through but Flow isn’t active. Payment confirmation reaches us a moment after Apple takes it. Give it a minute or two, then use Settings → Restore purchases. If it’s still inactive, email us with the date of purchase and we’ll sort it out.
